TRINCAS
Trincas debuted at its present location on Park Street as a tea-room and
bakery in 1939. In 1959 Om Prakash Puri and Ellis Joshua acquired Trincas
and converted it to a restaurant with live floor shows. Trincas soon became a
vital part of Calcutta's urban culture with its delightful food, live
entertainment and prominent location. It continues to be a favourite
experience for many, even today.

The Rotary Club of Calcutta, founded on 26th September, 1919, is the longest-
running Rotary club in Asia, and is proud to be associated with this heritage
restaurant.
